Please do not email the developers directly. Use the mailing list.
That is a very old server. Try using the 1.8 subversion command line
client and run 'svn log -v'. If that suffers the same problem then the
issue lies within subversion itself, in which case you need to report
it on the subversion users mailing list. Subversion should be
compatible with older server versions so if that is the problem then
it is a bug.
