Yes.

What do you mean by "replace"? Do you want this temporarily just for
your working copy, or do you want it to update the repository so that
everyone going forward gets this change?

What do you mean by "different revision"? Is this a different revision
on the exact same repository path, or do you want a different version
of the same directory from a different repository location (copied or
branched at some point in the past)?
