O.K. I found the real culprit !!
It is not the SD card !
I usually create Windows shortcuts to open working copies in Windows Explorer. Here is the command that I use as target:
C: \ Windows \ explorer.exe / root, C: \ path \ to \ working copies
If I simply use this command:
C: \ path \ to \ working copies
all goes well.
The 'root' option seems to cause a problem.
