It seems like I must be in a minority, not wanting to always have all of the repository, and such things aren't easily achievable.
I'm switching the home of my repository from the virtual machine (where space is tight) to a physical drive (where a 20GB repository doesn't matter so much, even if I don't need 98% of it).
