Hand entering/updating path does not yield path as expected

If on 1.8.4 64-bit 24901.

In Repo Browser, I like to replace the differing branch path to do quick visual compares of different branches.

When I have a path...

https://base.domain.com:8443/root/trunk/path/subpath

and replace with

https://base.domain.com:8443/root/feature/path/subpath

I end up getting a refresh and still looking at the trunk.

However, if I have clicked myself away to another folder/branch and then type in the path that was used to bring up the repo browser, it DOES navigate as expected.

So... if I bring up repo browser with...

https://base.domain.com:8443/root/trunk/path/subpath

then click away to
https://base.domain.com:8443/root/feature/path/subpath<https://base.domain.com:666/root/feature/path/subpath>

If I edit the address bar and try to go to any of...
https://base.domain.com:666/root/trunk/path/subpath
https://base.domain.com:666/root/trunk/path/
https://base.domain.com:666/root/trunk/
Behavior as expected.
