The bug is still present in TortoiseSVN 1.8.3: it is not possible to select a revision by the "Show log" button of the "Merge" dialog, the "Select revision range" dialog still shows the error message "Invalid revision passed to Log()" no matter if the revision text field of the Merge dialog is empty or contains any number.
