Found the 'Revert' action, which fixed everything (I think).

But I still need to understand how I can drop items from the repository. Previously I had committed content that did not need to be saved. Now I would like to remove that content from my repository.

Would also like to know how to determine capacity of my repository and how close my content is, to reaching that limit.

Pointers to relevant documentation will suffice, I think.
