You either need to downgrade your TSVN install to 1.7.x or you need to "upgrade" you working copies. If you have uncommitted changes in your working copies another thing you could do is just do a new checkout (to a different folder name, or rename the old working copy) and then copy all your changes into the new working copy and commit.
