1.8.0 log viewing hangs

I recently upgraded my client to:
TortoiseSVN 1.8.0, Build 24401 - 64 Bit , 2013/06/17 18:15:59
Subversion 1.8.0, -release
apr 1.4.6
apr-util 1.5.2
serf 1.2.1
OpenSSL 1.0.1e 11 Feb 2013
zlib 1.2.8

And now when I try to view log on one of repositories it just hangs. Co-worked has this client version:

TortoiseSVN 1.7.12, Build 24070 - 64 Bit , 2013/03/29 08:00:43
Subversion 1.7.9,
apr 1.4.6
apr-utils 1.3.12
neon 0.29.6
OpenSSL 1.0.1e 11 Feb 2013
zlib 1.2.7

and it works fine for him. Viewing the log server side also works fine. I realize this isn't totally actionable information, but wondering what else I could provide? I could email someone the log entries themselves, but probably not willing to post them here...
