As already mentioned the issue is in the subversion library. I believe
it has already been fixed on trunk and the fix will be available in
the 1.8.1 release. I can't tell you when that will be, but x.x.1
normally follows fairly soon after x.x.0 as the initial bugs are
flushed out.
