System shutdown causes Tortoise to forget the log message in an open commit dialogue

I would have expected Tortoise to save the message in the Commit dialogue if it is closed by a system shutdown, just as it does when you hit escape.

Is this not possible? It has cost me an appreciable amount of time on more than one occasion!

Regards,
Patrick Traill.
