Hi Arvind,
If you were just asking where to download the Tortoise SVN client, go to the following page, and look for the "green" buttons farther down the page. The big blue "Download" image is an advertisement for a different product.

This installer will not install the server software for you.
Tortoise SVN is just a client that is used to connect to the server from a Windows computer.

You may have to ask someone in your IT department whether you have 32 bit Windows or 64 bit.
It's important to get the correct one.

Hi Simon,
Perhaps a more generous view is that someone else has already installed SVN, and a non-technical set of users want to be able to see it, and this is what they were told to install.
Maybe someone had a good idea that all sales documents, and other corporate documents, need to be under version control?

They might consider asking for help from the team that already installed SVN.

TortoiseSVN perhaps, and a subversion server.
But the fact that you are asking this question suggests that you have not done any research at all into what it is you are implementing and maybe you don't know what Subversion is. You really need to work out where you are going first. This mailing list is really intended for people to ask specific questions about using TortoiseSVN, and we expect you to have done at least some basic research yourself first.
