Hello!

Can anybody confirm that this is a bug or am I misunderstanding something?
Is this worth a bug report? Where/how?

Hartmut.

Betreff: Context menu labels of "check for modifications" after "Check repository" misleading

        Hello!

I want to propose a change in the context menu for "check for modifications" after "Check repository" has been executed.

Situation: I have changed file (rev 17) in my working copy and on the server rev. 18 has been checked in.
In my case an update would lead to a conflict (i.e. same lines changed) but I think that does not matter.

"Compare with base" should become "Compare with HEAD" or even "Merge with HEAD"
"Compare with working copy" should become "Compare with BASE"
because this is what the actions are.

(before pressing "Check repository", there is only "Compare with BASE" in the menu and it does what it says.)

        This is
        TortoiseSVN 1.7.11, Build 23600 - 32 Bit , 2012/12/12 19:08:52
        Subversion 1.7.8,
        apr 1.4.6
        apr-utils 1.3.12
        neon 0.29.6
        OpenSSL 1.0.1c 10 May 2012
        zlib 1.2.7
        on Windows XP.

        Mit freundlichen Grüßen
        Dr. Hartmut Niemann
