Before an update, TSVN fetches the status of the update targets to get
additional information that's required for a few commands that are
available in the progress dialog after the update.
Depending on how big your working copies are and how many update targets
you selected, this can take quite a while.

I'll try to think of a way to speed this up, but so far I haven't found
a way that works so that the commands later still work.

Maybe I'll add an option to disable this behavior, but then also disable
the commands after the update.
