RE: Re: Configure TortoiseSVN on a new pc

Felix,

This is the first time I am using TortoiseSVN and whoever helped me set it up is also using a network folder (user's home folder on the network). The reason we selected the user home folder on the network is it gets backed up daily. If we had created our working folder on C:\ then it wouldn't be backed up. Moreover most of them are using laptops and do not want to risk laptop disk going bad in daily commute. Hence the reason to create the working folder on the network.

So if I upgrade on Win 7, I will have to upgrade the TSVN client on Win XP too. Am I understanding it right?

Sorry guys -- I appreciate your patience while you help me with this issue.
