Cleanup failed to process...

I'm experiencing the very same problem working with TortoiseSVN 1.7.x and MS Word 2010.
When I try to do an update while I have opened a MS Word document, the update fails, and this is understandable. But after that when I close the .doc and try to update again it fails with "Error: Previous operation has not finished; run 'cleanup' ..."
Then I try the cleanup, but it fails too with "Cleanup failed to process path"..

Some strange deadlock occurs between the TortoiseSVN and MS Word 2010 and I have to restart the TSVNCache or checkout my project again.
