Yes, as you posted that, I was just writing to confirm that I see a tilde (~) status for symlinks (meaning conflicted) when using svn status from the SlikSVN 1.7.6 distribution, and when using the svn.exe shipped with TortoiseSVN. But not when using Cygwin's svn 1.7.6 command on the same folders.

So I will take my cudgels over to the Subversion list. Thanks for your patience.
