That's not a valid repository URL. You're pointing to ViewVC, an
application on the server which is used to provide a richer view of
the repository.

According to http://logging.apache.org/log4net/source-repository.html
, you should be checking out from
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4net/tags/1.2.11
