Currently I face a local file corruption using Windows XP Sp3 and latest MS patches/updates):
1) did a commit using 1.7.8 some weeks ago
2) all local files have now a green state
3) did a cleanup on local files (no change)
4) some random local source files are corrupted (gau!!!!!) A false content was added, where the content was from an other process log file or VMWare Workstation log at the beginning or end of the corrupt file
5) Loading/overwrite the corrupt file from the server did the job. First renamed the corrupt file and did an update (still have the false files).
6) Currently I do not know the amount of local corrupt files.
7) Also do not know whether this issue is also on the server side...
or did
8) deleteda corrupt file
9) used then a file revert
10) the result was green again and the content was OK!
Finnaly upgraded to the 1.7.9,
What me buzzles is the fact that the local files are marked as green! And the unknown ammount of corrupted file(s).
