Unable to see icons with Windows 7

Hi,

I have installed Tortoise version 1.7.9 on my computer (first Tortoise
version ever installed on this computer).
I noticed that I cannot see the icons in Windows Explorer, but I can see
them in dialog boxes. I looked into Settings - Icon Overlays, and the
options I have chosen should allow me to see the icons in Windows
Explorer. I have
only checked Default (Status cache) and Fixed drives (Drive Types).

I am running Windows 7. Is that a known problem with Windows 7? I have
had other strange experience with
my Windows Explorer.

Thanks

Alexis
