Some unmodified "nested" extern folders shown in modified list

I have a repo with two folders, ExtInclude and ExtLib; each of these has svn:externals definitions for several subfolders (boost, gtest, etc).

I had been using TSVN 1.7.6 up until yesterday, updated to 1.7.8 yesterday and 1.7.9. just about twenty minutes ago. Since 1.7.8, I'm seeing two of the subfolders of ExtInclude are now showing up in the Check For Modifications list as "nested". There are no changes in those folders, either in the WC or in the repo.

One of these listed extern folders (ExtInclude\gtest) has a subfolder; the other does not. Some of the unlisted extern folders also have subfolders.

It's not completely clear to me what "nested" means, but regardless, there are no modifications, and these folders shouldn't be seen in the list.
