You may well be correct, but it seems a coincidence that this problem
only got reported since 1.7.0. Maybe a new "security" app came out at
exactly the same time, but I'm fairly sure I have seen a report from
someone who says he has no such apps installed. And why would it
affect only TSVN?

Patrick, what AV, firewall or other security apps do you use? Does
this affect only your PC or are there others with the same problem?
Does it affect any other software installation, particularly things
with shell integration (e.g. 7-zip).
