Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is that they get the wrong overlay: according to the help, they're shown as up to date, when they might contain uncommitted files, and they certainly need upgrading. (I haven't actually seen this; I probably need to reboot to activate the change.)

I don't see a way to choose the overlay that's being shown; I'd probably pick the "modified" or "conflicted" one, as a signal to me that action is needed.
