Icon overlays for 1.6 working copies?

I've just upgraded to 1.7.x. I have a lot of working copies on my machine (a bunch of small projects each have their own). It would be helpful to have an icon overlay indicating that a directory needs upgrading, rather than showing nothing. There might be uncommitted changes there, and I'd like to be reminded to upgrade and commit.
