Unique shell overlay icons for directories that are defined as svn:externals?

Hello,

I would like to have unique shell overlay icons for directories that are
defined as svn:externals.

I performed some searching on this subject and was somewhat surprised to
find so little discussion of it.

I had a look at the "Icon Overlays" -> "Icon Set" panel in TortoiseSVN
and didn't see any reference to externals there, either.

Are there plans to add this capability? Or does it already exist in some
capacity?
