We've always used working copies in that way for about 5 years with TSVN and never had problems with that.
Because our code is for a webserver (and this doesn't run local) I would have to copy all changed files manually from wc to wwwroot.
What should the permissions look like?

change subject? thread? :o
I wrote an email... does it matter if I write the "To" adress manually or get it by hitting "answer" on any other email?
I didn't know that you can spot this.
