File commit just hangs

I'm new to SVN, but I setup a local SVN server about a month ago, and have been using it fine, with numerous commits. Now, I'm having trouble committing files in a directory. When I try to commit, it just hangs before I can enter a message, and the files to be committed aren't shown. How can I find out more about where TortoiseSVN is getting stuck?
I'm using svn+ssh with PuTTy and Pageant, and it will Update or show the Repo just fine, so I know my server connection is working. I'm not getting to the part where files are actually being written, so it's unlikely to be a permissions issue. I also created a separate Working Copy in SmartSVN and was able to commit just fine. Seems like it's local and related to TortoiseSVN. I'm using Win7 x64, TortoiseSVN 1.7.7. I did have ZoneAlarm running, but I disabled it while troubleshooting and reinstalled TSVN and rebooted to see if that would help.
Any help is appreciated.
