Not even the "About" entry?
If you get that entry but not e.g. update/commit/... then you need to do
fresh checkouts of all your working copies.
Since you've used version 1.5 before, upgrading those doesn't work. You
can only upgrade 1.6 working copies to the new 1.7 format.

So you need to check out your working copies again.
