This is the wrong mailing list for that. The .svn folder is handled by
the subversion libraries, so you'd have to ask on the subversion users
list, not here. I'm reasonably certain that isn't going to happen,
though, and it definitely won't happen before 1.8.

See Garbi's comment about how simple exporting is improved in 1.7.x,
but note that a simple file copy won't work unless you're OK with a
source tree that contains whatever local files (e.g. build artifacts)
and local changes happen to exist in the working copy. Moving the .svn
folder cannot fix this.
