Jumping in here (as an SVN newbie)...I've seen a long delay opening the browser as well, on Win7 x64. Probably about a minute but I haven't timed it. The one thing is, it's not always slow. I just ran several tests (right click, Repo-browser) and they all opened in about 5 seconds. However the browser window opens immediately and then fills in. When it takes a long time, as I recall it seemed like the empty browser window itself didn't appear for most of the time. So perhaps it's not the "filling in" of the browser file list, but the process of opening the window to begin with?
