Different Folder Level in Checkout (TSVN-1.7.4)?

Hi

I've just updated to TortoiseSVN 1.7.4. I've noticed a curious behavior
in that the folder level-resulting from a CheckOut seems to be "lower" than
what I was used to previously (i.e v1.6).

That is, say that I begin a checkout in my folder MyCheckoutDir
I then select the folder MyCode from the repository-browser
(for example, by selecting MyCode in the right-side window in the
repository-browser).

It used to be the case that the folder MyCheckoutDir would now
contain a single folder MyCheckoutDir (which, in turn contains the
expected sub-folders)

However, currently (in v-1.7.4) when I do the same sequence of operations
the folder MyCheckoutDir now contains only the sub-folders of MyCode.

I assume that this means that there is now a config that is
defaulting differently
in 1.7.4. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to revert to the previous
behavior.
