Thanks Felix for your answer. However I don't understand a thing in the installation of this 1.7 version to have it working and functional.
If I get you right, should I right click on each directory and select "Upgrade working copy" ?
The documentation to install this new release is not clear at all for "normal" users which are not geek developers.

Objet : No more SVN after upgrade to last 1.7 version (from 1.6;xx)

Hello,

I just upgraded to the last 1.7 version (from 1.6) and installe dit twice as suggested (reapir the second time).
After this upgrade , I lost all the SVN functions on the concerned directories (a right click on the directory items does not show me anymore SVN update, SVN commit, etc). I see only a menu that says "SVN upgrade copy" -> this then tells me that if I continue I shall not be compatible with older clients. I Understand I shall not be anymore able to use SVN with my colleagues using an older version ?

HELP !
