unversioned files / directories in externals treated inconsistently

Hi,

I've found something in TortoiseSVN that looks to me like an inconsistency:

If I have unversioned items in an svn:external directory, the unversioned directories appear under the heading "(externals) name" in the status dialog. Unversioned files, however, appear under "root project".

Also, if I uncheck "Items in externals", the unversioned directories disappear, but the files remain.

Is this the desired behaviour or is it an inconsistency?
