No options but checkout for a wc directory containing plus sign

Hi,

We've found an issue with TortoiseSVN 1.7.3
We checkout our repositories to directories starting with + sign (in
this case +Cjfw)
If we try to initiate any svn action from TortoiseSVN, we only get the
checkout option.
A command line version of svn works fine.
I can help track down the problem, but it doesn't happen on all of our
computers, only certain ones (I'm not sure, what condition cause the bug
on one machine, but doesn't on another)
