Bug report

From: Collin Murray <CMurray_at_blizzard.com>

This is my first time reporting an issue with Tortoise SVN. I hope this is helpful. Here is what I found:

1) Upgrade from TortoiseSVN 1.7.1 to 1.7.3.

2) Any existing or new checkouts whose top-level folder name contains exactly two periods anywhere in the name will not be recognized properly (context menu shows only the checkout option, instead of update).

3) Removing or replacing one or both period characters, or adding an additional period character fixes the problem.

For example, one such checkout that fails had the following path:
C:\Projects\4.3.0

However, if I renamed the folder to this:
C:\Projects\4.3_0
and it started working again. I tried all different combinations of number of characters between periods, number of periods, periods in the parent folder, and nothing affected the issue except whether the top level folder had two periods or not.

This was readily reproducible on two of my development machines. I tried doing repair installations on both machines, but it had no effect. I cannot confirm if doing a clean installation of 1.7.3 produces different results.

Thanks in advance,
