I have just installed VisualSVN 2.5.2 server and client and as part of this installed TortoiseSVN 1.7.2.22327
The client is pointing at the server and in fact when I added a solution the folders appeared in the repository, however if I try to commit the project using either VisualSVN from within VS2010 or TotoiseSVN direct from windows explorer I get a Runtime Error stating that ‘This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way’. I also get this error if I try to Show Log, or access the Repo-browser.
I am using Windows 7, Visual Studio 2010, and the 32 bit versions detailed above. The windows error log contains the following error
Faulting application name: TortoiseProc.exe, version: 1.7.2.22327, time stamp: 0x4ed66ce8 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17514, time stamp: 0x4ce7b96e Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x000c37b7 Faulting process id: 0xb94 Faulting application start time: 0x01ccba5db8a390f0 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin\TortoiseProc.exe
I notice that there is a similar issue reported for check out (can’t check this as as yet I haven’t got any files checked in), but as far as I know this is the latest build, and therefore if there is a fix I should already have it.
I’ve been looking at this for a couple of days now and must admit that I am at a bit of a loss, I would therefore appreciate any suggestions you can give.
Thanks
