Bug TortoiseSVN 1.7.2.22327-x64: "Encountered an improper argument" on Checkout with clean install

Greetings,

I believe I have encounted a bug with TortoiseSVN version
1.7.2.22327-x64. I installed version 1.7.2 on a clean Windows 7 Pro
64 system and attempted to checkout a repository using Explorer, right
clicking on "SVN Checkout..." Upon clicking 'OK', I get the message
"Encountered an improper argument". I came across the following
article on stackoverflow.com:

This describes someone with the some problem running Windows 2008
server. I followed the advise at the bottom and installed 1.7.1 and
that resolved the issue.
