And if that doesn't fix it? Turned off MS security essentials and right-clicked turn off indexing on those folders and it will still hang.

I have noticed that it seems to be limited to only one of the repositories on the server. But the thing is, the repository that is giving me trouble still works fine on other tortoise clients.
