Problems with 1.7.1 and SSPI authentication

Hi all,

I have been using TortoiseSVN 1.6.x with SSPI based transparent
authentication for a long time without problems, but now I have updated to
1.7.1 and it does not work any longer, I get a dialog prompting for username
and password. I also tried the command line tools bundled in the installer
with the same result.

I tried switching from the neon backend to serf (--config-option
servers:global:http-library=serf) and that fixed the problem.

Could it be that neon is not built with SSPI support any longer ? Is serf
appropriate for wide use now or is it still kind of experimental ?

System is Windows Vista SP2 64-bits

Installed TortoiseSVN 1.7.1 x64 with command line tools

Server is Apache httpd 2.2.3 (CentOS 5.6) + mod_dav_svn + mod_auth_kerb,
accessed using https

Kerberos server is Windows 2003 AD

Thanks,

Diego
