Thank you for your response. I tried the switch from the CL and am still seeing the same behaviors as I previously reported using the context menu against that server. I should note that the repository that I'm running this against is on CodePlex and that may be the bulk of the problem.
In an effort to test, the switch command seems to be working as expected when I run it against several of the Subversion Edge servers that I administer locally - so everything is alright there.
I also did a checkout and switch against a SourceForge repository and it also worked correctly.
That being said, I believe that I should probably take this up with the CodePlex team at this point. I apologize for any inconvenience and will make a better effort to test against different servers before posting in the future.
