No, I don't think so. 1.6 WCs had a .svn folder within every folder of
your WC. 1.7 does not as it uses a single database in the WC root. And
in Windows there is no way to navigate above the root of a subst drive
to find it.

Out of interest, why do you use a subst drive for this if you already
have the full WC checked out? Doesn't a simple shortcut to open the
folder at a particular point work just as well?
