not showing .svn directories

Why does only one .svn directory show in the root of my project?

Shouldn't there be one for each sub folder?

TortoiseSVN 1.7.0, Build 22068 - 64 Bit , 2011/10/10 09:48:29

I WANT to see the .svn folders, I have everything set in folder properties (Windows 7). I can see the root one, like I said, but how do I get the others to show?

I've been able to checkout and commit, so the .svn folders must be there.
