Problem with Tortoise SVN 64 bit version

Hi,

We are using Windows 7 Enterprise N 64 bit edition (Service Pack 1 installed) for our development purposes. We tried using different Tortoise SVN 64 bit versions, including the latest 1.6.15 & 1.6.16 versions, but none seems to work properly. When we take a SVN update, the update window opens and shows it's downloading updates for a long time but nothing happens.

Fortunately, one of our developers has already faced this issue and he has found that the installer 'TortoiseSVN-1.6.9.19725-x64-svn-1.6.12' is working without any issues in our OS version.

We also switched to the above installer and the problem was resolved.

Anyone knows what the cause for this and in which version this will be fixed, since we usually like to keep our development environment with the latest updated versions of the dev tools.
