Well yes, I am pretty sure that was TortoiseSVN - icons showed after
canceled checkout, dis- and reappeared after un- and reinstall.
"Was" - I didn't use computer on weekend and now as I checked, all the icons
were already gone... Unfortunately I have no idea why and if it was because
of any of my "fixes".

If it happens again I will be sure to record all details and effects of my
doings.
