I have downloaded the CollabNet Subversion Command-Line Client v1.6.17 (for Windows) and installed it on the same machine with TortoiseSVN 1.6.16, Build 21511 - 32 Bit (Subversion 1.6.17).

I tested svnversion tool and it proved to be quite fast compared to subwcrev; I measured ~x16 speedup.

However I found out that the CollabNet svnversion.exe tool does not work correctly for nested working copy directories (i.e. for all nested working copy directories it returns the revision of the top-level working copy directory) Do you have any idea why?
