Selective needs-lock for different repos.

Hi all,
I'm working with several repositories. Some are working with the lock-modify-unlock-mode, some work with the normal mode. The needs-lock-setting is common for all repos so I have to unlock new files in the normal repos. This is tedious. Is there any way to restrict the needs-lock to selected repositories? (If not: Feature-request?)
