I've always found Tortoise's integration into explorer sufficient for
my purposes, but if you really need IDE integration, and your IDE
looks enough like Visual Studio to use the same plug-in interface, why
not just use an already-existent Visual Studio plugin?
I've never used any of them, but there are dozens out there.
