Problems in explorer started with /root

If TortoiseSVN is used within an explorer window that was created with "explorer /root, <somePath>", some context menu do not work correctly.
For example when dragging files with the right mouse button pressed, the context menu that opens upon mouse release will not show the SVN related actions.
Also the paste action will not show up within the context menu.
Also when trying to check out within such a window,
The checkout dialog will always use the root folder as destination, even when the action is initiated within some subdirectory.

Note that the same actions work fine within the same folders, if the explorer was opened without arguments.
