Looking at that page, 1.6.16 is mentioned as the latest stable
release, but if you click on the 'News' link under 'Info', it brings
you to the news archive showing the March 23 announcement of release
1.6.15. There is no clear indication that that page is showing older
news items and misses the most recent ones.

The home page correctly shows all news items, including the 1.6.16 announcement.
