No. those are different features.

"include merged revisions":
Show log for e.g. 1.6.x branch with the option checked. For every commit
that was done after a merge, the merged revisions are shown too,
slightly moved right (indicating child items). Those revisions are *not*
part of the 1.6.x branch itself.

"graying already merged revisions":
Start the merge wizard for 1.6.x, show the log for trunk. All revisions
from trunk are shown, but those that are already merged to 1.6.x (the
path for which the merge wizard was started) are shown in gray.
